Lurch's HW Treatment

Poor Lurch was found as a stray by a good Samaritan. She took him in and brought him to the vet to check for a microchip and update his shots. Of course no microchip was found.The story becomes more tangled - as Lurch's rescuer recalled seeing an ad for re-homing him on craiglist a few weeks prior. She located the ad and called Lurch's previous owner who said that she had given him away. Lurch's new family was then contacted - they responded "we don't want him any more."So perhaps Lurch was dumped - and not intentionally wandering...Poor poor pup.On top of everything else - Lurch has tested positive for heartworm disease and needs your help to raise the funds to be treated. This boy is so sweet! It seems crazy that he has been dumped over and over again in such a short time. We estimate him to be 1.5 years old. Lurch is currently living with a Rottweiler and a mini Dachshund and fitting in well! Please help us to help him find his way to a new beginning and better humans.
